Personal Background

As 19-year residents of Westfield, my husband Dan and I have volunteered extensively in support of community causes and activities. Our two children, Luke (20) and Emma (19), have attended both public and nearby private schools, which has given me a deep understanding of these institutions as well as the civic life of communities such as Westfield, Scotch Plains, Cranford, Summit, Chatham, New Providence, Morristown and surrounding areas.  And having served as both Board Member and President of The Newcomers Club of Westfield, I have a unique perspective regarding how families who are new to the area, can quickly achieve a strong sense of belonging.
